Tanzanian prime minister say ; Religious leaders are doing good job to ensure the development of society.

 Dr. Kassim Majaliwa emphasized that the government recognizes and values the contributions of religious and traditional leaders in promoting social welfare. 

He expressed appreciation for their continuous efforts to transcend spiritual boundaries and address "community development" across various sectors.

 Speaking on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, during the Commemoration of Reconciliation Day at the Arusha International Conference Centre, he highlighted the importance of their collaboration in national initiatives that unite all Tanzanians, including mobilizing believers for critical national campaigns.

He urged these leaders to maintain their support, as their voices hold substantial influence within the community.

Furthermore, he called for ongoing cooperation with the government to sustain peace, enabling Tanzanians to engage fully in productive activities. 

He acknowledged the day's purpose and encouraged the promotion of love, peace, unity, and solidarity throughout the nation.

 Also ,he noted that addressing moral decay remains a persistent agenda for these leaders, urging them to firmly denounce actions contrary to the values of Tanzanian culture and religion. 

In another remark, he said that the 4R philosophy initiated by President Samia has been a catalyst for strengthening reconciliation, resilience, transformation, and change, thereby contributing to a harmonious Tanzanian society.
