President Trump advised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to " proceed as he sees fit".

US President

US President Donald Trump has granted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the freedom to act as "he sees fit regarding the next phase of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas. "

Speaking after the Daytona 500 event, President Trump expressed his stance on the ongoing situation in Gaza, stating, "I told Bibi, you do whatever you want." He recalled his role in facilitating a ceasefire deal in mid-January, which included the release of all Hamas hostages.

However, when it became clear that Hamas might not fulfill its obligations, Trump issued a stern warning, indicating that significant consequences would follow.

Following his firm stance, Hamas complied by releasing all hostages, including an American.

As discussions shift to the next steps in the ceasefire, Trump emphasized that the decision lies with Netanyahu, although he noted that it would be made in consultation with him.

Additionally, Trump provided an update on the condition of the recently freed prisoners, stating they are in "pretty good shape," contrasting their condition with those released earlier, who appeared severely affected.

Netanyahu, in a joint statement with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, reaffirmed the shared strategy between the two nations regarding Gaza, warning of severe repercussions for Hamas if all hostages are not returned as agreed.
