Jocelyn Wildenstein, a prominent socialite from New York known as "Catwoman," has passed away at the age of 84.
Her fiancé, Lloyd Klein, announced that she died from a pulmonary embolism at their villa in Paris.
Wildenstein first gained public attention in the late 1990s, not only for her distinctive appearance but also for her high-profile divorce from Alec Wildenstein, which resulted in a staggering $2.5 billion settlement, making her one of the wealthiest women of that era.
However, despite her financial windfall, she faced bankruptcy in 2018.
Throughout her life, Wildenstein underwent numerous surgeries but consistently denied any addiction to cosmetic procedures, attributing her feline features to her Swiss grandmother in a 1998 Vanity Fair interview.
