Donald Trump slams Bishop urged him to have mercy on immigrants & LGBT during player services

President of the united states

President Donald Trump has criticized a female Bishop who fervently urged him to show compassion towards immigrants and the LGBTQ community.

On January 21, during his first full day in office, Trump attended a prayer service at the Washington National Cathedral. The day before, in his inauguration speech, he asserted that America recognizes only two genders and signed executive orders aimed at tightening immigration policies.

In response to these actions, Episcopal Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde, speaking from the pulpit, implored the President to consider the fears of those who feel threatened by his policies, highlighting the plight of LGBTQ youth and the contributions of immigrants.

She emphasized the humanity of those who work in essential roles, regardless of their documentation status, and called for mercy towards families facing separation.

However, Trump and his family appeared unimpressed during her address, later dismissing it as "not too exciting." Following the event's viral spread on social media, Trump took to his Truth Social platform to label Budde a "so-called Bishop" and a "Radical Left hard-line Trump hater," demanding an apology from her to the American people.

Trump stated that " the Bishop who addressed the National Prayer Service on Tuesday morning was a staunch opponent of his, representing the Radical Left."

He criticized her for intertwining her religious role with politics in an ungracious manner, describing her tone as unpleasant and her arguments as neither compelling nor intelligent.

He pointed out her failure to acknowledge the significant influx of illegal migrants into the country, some of whom were released from jails and mental health facilities, contributing to a substantial crime wave in the United States.

Furthermore, he deemed the service itself to be dull and lacking inspiration, asserting that she is not effective in her role and that both she and her church should apologize to the public.
