Chris brown file $500 against Warner Bros

Singer Chris Brown has filed a defamation lawsuit in Los Angeles on January 21, seeking $500 million, equivalent to 1.2 trillion Tanzanian shillings, against the producers of a documentary titled "Chris Brown: A History of Violence," which he claims disseminates false allegations.

In his complaint, Brown accuses Warner Bros, LLC, Discovery, Ample Entertainment, and others of promoting and publishing defamatory and false claims, including an alleged rape incident from 2020, despite evidence contradicting these allegations.

Brown's lawsuit asserts that the individual referred to as Jane Doe in the documentary has repeatedly been discredited, noting that she previously dropped her case against him due to a lack of evidence.

A report released in October 2024 indicates that a $20 million lawsuit filed by Jane Doe against Brown in 2022 was dismissed that same year by a judge citing insufficient charges.

The woman had reported to Miami Beach police, who concluded that her claims were unfounded and that there was no viable reason to prosecute Brown. Consequently, Brown has taken legal action to protect his reputation from the spread of these false claims by the companies involved.
