The approach of President Samia has bolstered the utilization of cooking energy in Tanzania.

Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan has elevated Tanzania's commitment to clean cooking energy, recognizing its critical role in promoting human health and environmental sustainability.

Majaliwa noted that these initiatives have attracted the attention of international organizations, leading to the organization of a significant clean energy conference in Tanzania. He urged Tanzanians to rally behind President Dr. Samia's efforts to position the country as a leader in clean energy adoption across Africa.

This statement was made during the Kizimkazi Declaration Festival, which coincided with the distribution of 1,000 gas stoves aimed at promoting clean cooking practices.

The event took place in Kilimahewa Majumbakumi, Ruangwa, in the Lindi region. Mr. Majaliwa emphasized the need for collective support for the President's agenda, asserting that Tanzania should be recognized globally for its leadership in clean energy initiatives.

He also called on Local Government Authorities to advocate for clean cooking energy solutions, including electricity, gas, and eco-friendly charcoal. Lindi Regional Commissioner Zainab Telack highlighted that the Kizimkazi resolution would significantly benefit women by providing access to clean cooking energy.

Hawa Mpinga, a beneficiary of the gas cylinder distribution program, shared her previous health struggles due to traditional cooking methods, stating that wood smoke had severely affected her eyesight. During the event, Mr. Majaliwa distributed 1,000 gas cylinders, with 800 provided by the Tanzania Planning Organization through Bongo FM and 200 donated by Taifa Gas.
