Tanzania to increase the use of digital system in the government sectors to facilitate the performance and ease of services delivery to citizens .

"The use of an electronic cabinet system will help improve performance and bring more efficiency in serving the people ", prime minister.
He has said that the improvements in the use of the electronic system will greatly help to reduce the use of paper in Government meetings, especially the Council of Ministers, thus reducing challenges ,including delay in information, high printing costs and the risk of loss of important information.
He said this today while closing the working meeting of ministers and Deputy ministers on the use of the electronic system of the Council of Ministers (e-CABINET), at the Treasury hall in Dodoma.
He added that the move is based on the efforts and goals of the Honorable President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan to emphasize the importance of ministers and public servants to consider technological changes in work performance,
“The results of the year 2023 of comparison between countries in the context of maturity in the use of technology in the government (Government Technical Maturity Index), our country ranked third (3) compared to other countries in Africa. " ,We congratulate and wish the President Dr. Samia .
Likewise, the Prime minister has said that the meeting regarding the use of the electronic system of the Council of Ministers is part of the government's efforts to ensure that Ministers and public servants have modern knowledge of the operation of government activities and service in general.
For his part, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Dr. Doto Biteko has congratulated the experts from the Internet Government Agency for making the training a success. “We believe we have understood to a great extent. ”
On other side , the goal of managing the use of the digital system is to reduce unnecessary costs from time to time to ensure that all system go hand in hand with more expertise .
President Samia is increasing her strength in strengthening the government in the use of professional system including digital system to simplify all government work and research, President Samia's philosophy is one of the philosophies that encourages and increases speed in every sector of the government including education, health, natural science and digital .
