President Dr .Samia Suluhu Hassan has asked the chiefs to be good problem solvers of conflicts in society based on the Constitution of the country , rights and customs while urging them to avoid traditions that violate the dignity of the people .
At Chamwino Dodoma today , president Samia said ",chiefs I congratulate you for getting a plot in Dodoma region and I was listening well to chief Nyamilondo in his letter , but also I was exchanging ideas with the chairman of chiefs here __ and I asked him how you want to build and he told me that only five rooms can be enough for building house , I told him now what you will do is to find a good painter to give us something that will be compatible with Tanzanian culture , and then later we will look at what we will build "
President Samia has also insisted the chiefs to conduct activities in accordance with the Constitution and human rights while considering the traditions in right way , he also insisted the people of Lake region to avoid mistake and punishment that they tend to provide to woman without considering human rights , so he has insisted the chiefs to solve the problems by considering human rights effectively.
"Development is inevitable but the issue of traditions and customs , we should continue to maintain but traditions that violate human rights we should resolve and eliminate them ", president Samia .
