President Joe Biden has announced his withdraw from the race for the presidency of the country in the next election , saying that he is doing so in the broad interest of his party and the American nation as a whole , Biden is taking that decision with  only four months left for the United States to hold presidential election .

Biden's decision has come amid a rift within his party , some believing he could run again and others saying he could not due to old age and being overwhelmed during his debate with his opponent Donald Trump .

Biden has said that next week he will address the nation and explain more about his decision where he has now said that he is putting strength in his duties as president for the rest of the time and has congratulated his vice president , Kamala Harris for the great cooperation he showed him .

"My fellow Democrats , I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as president for the remainder of my term , My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my vice president . And it's been the best decision I've made .Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year . Democrats__ it's time to come together and beat Trump . Let's do this ", President Biden wrote on his X page .
