The president of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan has attended the African union conference responsible for preventing , controlling and resolving conflicts in our continent .
President Samia attended the conference aimed at creating energy and development in Africa .
" When this body was established it was given a practical role in dealing with conflicts and strengthening the ability to bring peace , security and stability throughout Africa as well as starting mediation discussions to help the country be built , an area where we have made progress in implementation ", He explained.
President Samia made also a great contribution to awards medals to some leaders who made contribution for the 20 years of this council and helped promote peace and prosperity on our continent maintaining security and unity .
" In addition to the success we have achieved , we still have work to learn from history we have experienced of various conflicts and organize ourselves for decades to come " He said .
