Tanzania does relationship with Kenya

The Government of Tanzania has officially launched the construction of twin buildings in Nairobi, Kenya that will be used as offices of the Tanzanian Embassy in the country and an investment , where the event was attended by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya, Musalia Mudavadi.

The construction will be funded by the NSSF Social Security Fund and built in a commercial area in the middle of the Nairobi city  in the area that the Kenyan Government gave to Tanzania to build its Embassy offices.

Speaking at the launch event, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, January Makamba, said that the project is part of the Government's new strategy to ensure that it uses its areas and buildings in the diaspora to bring in foreign currency instead of using foreign currency.

He said the Government's strategy wants to remove Tanzania from spending 29 billion shillings per year to pay taxes to its Embassies abroad and instead bring in 37 billion shillings per year as income for such Kenyan investments.

The building is a major governmental activity between the two countries where Tanzania will build it's embassy office as an investment and all embassy issues  between both countries.

The construction project is part of the agreement between Tanzania and Kenya which aims at good diplomatic cooperation with embassies between both countries .
